Located on Telegraph Avenue, across the street from the historic Fox Theater, Crybaby is easily accessible to the busiest area for nightlife and entertainment in Oakland. Booking genres across the board as well as opening the venue to local booking powerhouses, international brands and full service event planners, Crybaby alongside its sister venue Ceremony, will be coming with a unique aesthetic and brand, rare to the city and music industry.

Crybaby will be creating an all-inclusive, elevated space, full of diversity in both talent and patrons, with no frills and world class sound by a team well known and documented for it.

Per Oakland City Ordinance, all patrons attending indoor events at Crybaby MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED. Patrons are required to show proof of full vaccination, with the same name as their valid form of identification, with final dose date shown as a minimum of 14 days prior to event date. In addition, the City of Oakland currently has a mask mandate when attending indoor events. These policies are subject to change based on City, County, State and Federal mandates. It is Crybaby’s policy to enforce the most recent requirements at the time of the show.

Strobe lights, fog, haze, and loud music are common at our events and parties and sometimes their use is out of our control. If you have any serious medical light or allergy sensitivities to theatrical effects such as strobing lights or particle FX, please be aware that they may be in use as part of the production when planning your visit. Earplugs are available at the bar.

Professional photography, cameras or recording equipment such as SLR’s, lenses and lighting gear are prohibited. Non-professional photos are cool.  Photos are ok within reason, but not to the point where it becomes disruptive to the crowd or performers. If you are attempting to film high-quality content for personal, commercial or promotional purposes, you must be authorized in advance. TICKET AND BOX OFFICE QUESTIONS

Tickets can be purchased online for most events and you can find ticket links and check out upcoming shows on our Calendar. Events with presale tickets will show a ticket link. If there is no ticket link, then tickets will only be available at the door for that event so come early. You can also refer to our social media pages for ticket updates: @crybabyoakland

Possibly. Ticketing is subject to our capacity, and ticket availability changes on a per event basis.  The best way to stay in the loop is to follow our social media accounts, where we will post updates about ticket availability for high demand events the day of: @crybabyoakland

For any event with online presale tickets, day of, in person, box office ticket fees will still apply.  For specific event pricing check out our Calendar.

There is a delivery delay placed on all of our shows to combat scalping and fraudulent purchases. Tickets will be sent out at least 48 hours prior to the event.

All ticket sales are final. Lineups and set times are subject to change without notice, due to circumstances outside our control. If there is a cancellation or postponement, ticket holders can a) hold on to their ticket to be honored at a later determined date or b) receive a full refund. If a full cancellation occurs, refunds will be processed automatically – please allow up to 14 days for your refund to be processed. For anything that needs special attention, please email info@crybaby.live for additional help. 

Generally no. All events are operated and ticketed separately and will require its own ticket. There may be specific events where tickets will cover both the early and late shows. That information will be provided on the calendar, upon purchase of tickets and on Crybaby socials. 

No, it is not always free before 10p. Each event has its own promotions and discounted entry. A link will appear on the calendar event if RSVP or Guestlist promotions are offered. You can also refer to our socials for more information about RSVPs for specific shows and parties.
