Welcome to Tender Riots! 

 

Our mission is to fortify the sanctuary of our bodies, minds and souls through wild and playful dance parties. We celebrate full bodied expression through music that will dance both our darkest and our lightest emotions. On the dance floor we build family. Here, we dance the revolution.

 

Your DJ will provide some light vocal cues to support dancers in connecting to their bodies and one another throughout the set. Expect a Tender Riot Ritual about 1 hour into the event.

Community Agreements will be briefly expanded upon during the Tender Riot Ritual.

 

There will be a team of Riot Rousers present to help bolster community agreements, activate the dance floor and maintain as safe a space as possible.

 

If you thought you didn’t have the energy to get wackier than a courting black footed albatross, you will have to think again. My cross genre sets driven by house and global beats will bring you to your second wind and raise you your fifth. I’m just as playful, silly, goofy as I am spiritually inclined and I’m basically a monk:p I live my truth so boldly that it will reflect the places in you where you are still lying to yourself. Let’s dance until every mask is shaken off. Until even your grief and your rage becomes irresistible. I want you to know that when I stand behind the decks, I am in search of your power center. I will attune to you in your play, in your light, in your darkness and in your shame so that we can harness all of you. With the uncovered power in us, we will generate realities of unity and love that have not yet been imagined.
