Wildchoir (noun) - a harmonic act of nature; the Earth sounding itself alive; a collective of voices, undomesticated and free.   Wildchoir’s purpose is to invoke the power of music to activate humanity towards radical love and action - from the stage to the streets. Grounded in a commitment to social justice, ecological regeneration, and healing for all beings, Wildchoir’s music illuminates the joy, pain, and beauty of what it means to be human. Based in Oakland, California, Wildchoir is a diverse group of vocalists, artists, activists, educators, healers, and community organizers who join together in big harmony. They celebrate the confluence of their many cultures and identities making music that spans R&B, Soul, Gospel, and Folk.   They have recorded on a grammy-award winning album with Esperanza Spalding and performed with nationally-acclaimed artists for social change including Rising Appalachia, Climbing Poetree, and MaMuse. They have also shared the stage with progressive heroes of our time such as Bernie Sanders, Ericka Huggins, Joanna Macy, and Resmaa Menakem. Their music has inspired thousands at festivals and conferences and festivals across California, including at Bioneers, Lightning in a Bottle, CIIS, Institute for Noetic Sciences, and the North America Permaculture Convergence.    In 2023 Wildchoir released their first EP titled, Love Anyway. The EP features powerful soul and gospel harmonies while exploring themes of connection, justice, healing, and self and community love. Wildchoir’s music has been streamed by millions of people across the world, and the EP is available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and is available for sale Bandcamp.    In 2023, Wildchoir also had their first tour, performing on stages for full houses across Northern California with kindred bands, MaMuse and The Feelings Parade. Wildchoir is most at home when performing at demonstrations and rallies, and has led thousands in songs at protests at actions in service of anti-war movements as well as racial, economic, and climate justice.
